How much does Reupholstery cost ?

With the varied nature of furniture styles and designs, you will need to get in touch with us to discuss your project and receive a bespoke quotation. Reupholstery can become a sizeable investment depending on the project, and in some cases 'buying new' may be a more cost effective solution. Reupholstery should be considered when a customer is partial to the design and trusts the quality of their furniture. We are happy to advise and discuss on the numerous benefits of reupholstery, and why it is always a good investment towards insuring the quality of your furniture over decades of use. 

 

What do I need to do to receive a bespoke quotation? 

Please send photographs of your furniture to our email address > info@mausinteriors.com along with rough dimensions and as much information regarding the project as possible ie. desired fabric colour ways, textures, etc. We will then provide you with a bespoke quotation and information about our fabric collections.  Please note that initial quotations will consist of labour, materials (not fabric ) costs + an estimated fabric meterage. Once a fabric is chosen we can provide more accurate overall costings based on the price of the chosen fabric collection. 

 

How long will my project take? 

 

This obviously all depends on the size of the project, but, our general rule is to return your furniture to you as quickly as possible.  However, at busier times, and on bigger pieces, certain projects can take longer. We aim to have open lines of correspondence by email for the entirety of your project and keep you updated with any updates or delays as and when they occur. We run our waiting list to complete all our projects within a 3-6 week window from the collection date. 

How do I proceed after I’ve received a quotation  

 

If you are happy with with the costings outlined in your quotation then all you need to do is give us a call 0161-637-2822 or reply via email info@mausinteriors.com You will then need to pay a deposit , once this has been paid we will book the collection of your furniture at the next available date. A collection date/time will be confirmed and then you are all set.

 

Do you offer a Collection/Delivery Service?

Yes. Local collections (in the Greater Manchester ) are charged at £50 which includes collection and delivery/redelivery . If you are outside the Greater Manchester area collections and deliveries are still possible via courier

 

Can I see physical Fabric Samples? 

Yes.  Give us a call or an email to arrange a consultation at our shop or send a list of samples to our email address. We will guide you through this at the quotation stage- samples can be sent to your address and prices per meter will be provided by email .

 

Can I use my own Fabrics?

Yes. We do however charge a cutting fee this is due to our preference of using our tried and trusted suppliers of over 15 years . We will need a sample of the fabric to ensure it is suitable for use in upholstery.  

 

Do you cover leather furniture?

Yes.  We cannot, however, provide samples in the post to your address. You will need to book a consultation at our studio to look through and choose your leather. 

 

When can you start work on my project?

We use a forward booking system with a waiting list to ensure the best chance of getting your furniture back to you within a reasonable time period and avoid a backlog of work. Please note that during busier periods our waiting list has been known to stretch for 6-8 months ahead. 

Is your work guaranteed? 

All the fabric we sell is guaranteed by the manufacturer, if there was a problem with the fabric’s wear for example, we can raise the case with our supplier and they will compensate us to replace the fabric/section of fabric. We have never had to do this since we started back in 2017, but the protection is there for your peace of mind. 

 

Due to the bespoke nature of our services, and the fact that, in most cases we are not manufacturers of your furniture, we don't offer a written guarantee. However with your invoice you are protected under UK law and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This ‘in a nut shell’ states that we must provide reasonable care and attention by law otherwise a refund must be issued. 

 

As much as we don’t like to discuss issues before even beginning work on a project, in a hypothetical scenario where there are issues, our customer service doesn’t end when we drop off your furniture. We aim to put right any snags/issues you may have and continue to remedy and discuss with you until any problem is resolved. Our reputation means everything to us and we do not take your investment in your furniture lightly! We encourage our customers to share their experiences online and we suggest having a read/look through some of our testimonials and galleries if you think it might further put you at ease. 

 

I'm not sure you provide the service I need? Do you work with...?

We specialise in upholstery and undertake work of all shapes, sizes, applications including cars, campers and boats. If you are unsure whether or not, we can help you with your project just get in touch. The general rule is that if it's made using fabric, we can most probably help!

 

How do I pay? 

You will need to pay a deposit to secure your collection date. This can be paid via bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash.

On completion of your project, we will notify you via email with pictures and a final invoice showing the remaining balance.

Payment must be made for the full balance prior to or on delivery. For larger projects we may stagger further payments across the duration of the work. i.e. larger commercial projects.  If this is the case we will outline these payment terms in our quotation email.

 

I would like to see my completed furniture before I make a payment is that possible?

We will send over a photograph of your completed project with your final invoice as outlined above. 

Maus Store Refunds & Returns

If you have purchased one of our products from the maus store, refunds are accepted within 30 days of purchase date. The product will need to be returned to us in a saleable condition at the cost of the customer, and a refund will be issued. To request a refund get in touch via our email address info@mausinteriors.com Please note that the above returns policy covers online product purchases ONLY not for any of our bespoke services.
