When we were approached to design the beer garden for House of Hops bottle shop and tap room, the brief was simple- add a touch of class and order to the rustic, urban environment that already existed, without losing the rough and ready atmosphere that has helped the taproom go from strength to strength amongst beer lovers and locals alike!
We decided to contrast rustic pallet furniture with sleek bottle green water resistant pads ,
and match them with matted steel stools that would stand freely at a pallet bar.
Our original designs show these wicker planters, but our joiners knocked up some bespoke pallet planters to match and tie in with the rest of the rustic wooden features.
We added a pallet feature wall and made up these bright, water-resistant scatter cushions to add a splash of colour
Finally we added a circular laser-etched logo sign that was hung at the end of the pallet bar.
